  3.5 stars really. It’s ok for short stroll out and back to viewing platform. It doesn’t have a pristine wilderness feeling, but more like a man made vernal pool in middle of farms and cow pastures. Also, Maybe I tend to come in middle of day, but all two out of two times I visited, the cranes are all outside the park in the surrounding private farm fields, to the south - south east. This last time, however, the whole flock did fly overhead as I hiked back to parking area, so that was really nice experience
